FALLING
Having suffered a near-fatal fall myself and inspired by the book Piranesi by Susanna Clark, these sketches are working ideas from separate drawings collaged together and interwoven into one story. These are for a series of paintings to follow.
Staircase To Nowhere
I wanted to get the feeling of scale by making an extremely low view point so that architecture would tower above you.

The monumental statues loomed over the man with the torch.
