I am a regular visitor to Seasalter on the North Kent coast and am captivated by the ever-changing colours and light of the different seasons. I am constantly trying to capture the beauty of the sea and sky with the daily tides and visiting wildlife.
I started sketching en plein air on my coastal walks, working with charcoals, pencils and ink brush pen, I also carried my iPad as I could sketch with Procreate, an excellent drawing app. It provided a whole studio of colour within my small rucksack. Other work was painted in acrylics from the window of our holiday home.
